Terms of use
These terms cover the AlongWell app and this website. By using either, you agree to them. They are written to be read in one sitting.
Who we are
AlongWell is made by PrimeRole, Inc., 2261 Market St, San Francisco, California 94114-1612, United States. “We” and “AlongWell” below mean PrimeRole, Inc.
What AlongWell is, and is not
AlongWell helps you organise your family’s medicines, reminders and home readings. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It does not diagnose conditions, interpret readings or recommend treatment. Talk to your doctor about your treatment.
Reading status words such as Optimal, Sufficient and Out of Range come from general adult reference ranges. They do not take a person’s condition, age or medicines into account, and they are not an assessment.
Reminders are an aid to memory, not a guarantee. A notification can be delayed or missed for reasons outside our control, such as phone settings, battery saving, or a lost connection. Do not rely on AlongWell alone where a missed dose would be dangerous.
Your account
- You must be 18 or over to hold an account.
- Your account is tied to your phone number and signed in on one phone at a time. Keep that phone secure; what happens under your account is your responsibility.
- Keep the information you enter accurate and up to date.
Your information
What you enter is yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it in order to run AlongWell, as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to enter information about the people, and the pets, you add to your family.
Using AlongWell
You may use the app for your own household. You may not use it to harm anyone, enter content that is unlawful, try to get into other people’s accounts or our systems, copy or scrape the service, overload it, or take it apart to build something else from it.
Early software
AlongWell is early software and it is changing. Features may change or be removed, the service may be interrupted, and we may require you to update the app to keep using it. We will do our best to warn you before anything that affects your records.
Our content
The app, its design and its words belong to us. You may use the app on your phone for personal use, and nothing more is granted.
Ending
You can stop using AlongWell at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where we can give it, and we may stop offering AlongWell.
What we do not promise
We do our best to keep AlongWell accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. We do not promise that it is free of errors or always available, and we are not responsible for decisions about anyone’s health made from what it shows.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to US$100 or the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away a protection you have as a consumer where you live.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and if a change matters to you, we say so in the app before it applies. Using AlongWell after that means you accept the change.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and disputes are heard in the courts of San Francisco, California, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
